Algebra 1 is made up of five instructional components: Introduction of the New Increment, Examples with Complete Solutions, Practice of the Increment, Daily Problem Sets, and Cumulative Tests. Algebra 1 covers topics typically treated in a first-year algebra course.

Building on their work with linear, quadratic, and exponential functions, Algebra 2 students extend their repertoire of functions to include polynomial, rational, and radical functions.

The pre-requisites are Algebra I and Algebra 2. Students who complete the Saxon Algebra I, Algebra 2, and Advanced Math/Precalculus have also earned 1 full credit in plane geometry.
